CYBER HUNT « Thread Started on Apr 30, 2008, 9:03am »
Hi! I'm a Michigan-based independent film producer, hoping to shoot a sci-fi action movie in Detroit. Currently, it's in pre-production. It's called CYBER HUNT and is envisioned as the first in a trilogy of films. Our director is Neil Johnson, a sci-fi fan as well as a talented filmmaker with many years of experience. Chase Masterson (Leeta on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) is attached to the project in the role of Major Lindsay Eckert - members of the production team will be meeting with her personally prior to the start of MOTOR CITY COMIC CON. In addition to the movie, a graphic novel version called DARKEYE is planned via Dark Elf as a companion/extension of the film.... Attended a Mitch Albom filmmakers meeting last night to discuss the new State incentives package.

Time for an update on the movie front: CYBER HUNT has a new director - David Winning - who's directed episodes of STARGATE and ANDROMEDA. As always, it's still in the plan to have a graphic novel version called DARKEYE to be published by Dark Elf.... I'm attending a meeting this week with my executive producer, BABYLON 5 actor Jason Carter, and with director David Winning to discuss all things CYBER HUNT (including the graphic novel). It's really coming together - a lot has happened in the last few months.
