I tend to like my prog power metal the best. Since my favorite subjects to draw seem to be in a sci fi fantastical realm , characters , and concepts ....any metal with a good other worldly realm atmosphere created with keyboards , guitar, and themes of night space travel , or a mystical gothic "lord of the Rings" feel to it really brings out the best art and creative spark.
Bands off right away , Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Iced Earth, Judas Preist......just to name a few, I 'll think of more later.

Yeah it kinda depends what i'm drawin. I like cage, disturbed even john mayer depending on the circumstances. ICP helps me get into those funny moods.

Well, when I'm drawing it can range anywhere from anime soundtracks to movie soundtracks (ie,Gladiator,The Dark Knight,Pirates of the Carribean,The Matrix,Resident Evil),hip-hop and electronic. Usualy depends on what mood I'm in and what I'm drawing. If it's Bushi, then I lean more toward anime soundtracks or world music with an asian influnence.
